Our love story
First time we met
We spoke for the first time on the 27 February 2024 - Somewhere in Cape Town
We saw each other at work; and teased each other during a random conversation. After that moment, she thought he was stuck up and he thought she was a pretty white girl.
We went on our first date on 5th May 2024 - it was a Sunday. NB: we went bowling and he won; she lost.
We fell in love with each other
But love didn't rush in, it unfolded-slowly and confidently. And through it all, church remained our home. Not just the building, but the spirit of it. We worshipped together. Served together. Prayed hand in hand, knowing that love is strongest when it's rooted in faith. We began building something more than a relationship.
We built a partnership.
Now, when people ask us how we met, we smile and say, 'At work.'
But when they ask us how we fell in love, the truth is simpler:
We found each other - and God met us there.
He asked? ..She said Yes
20 October 2024
The first time we agreed to getting married was 20 October 2024. We consider that our unofficial engagement date. He promised her that he would dazzle her with an official proposal.
05 April 2025
On 05 April 2025; he proposed. Backstory: He with the help of their special people; planned a fake gala dinner for her at a special venue. Their Pastor sent a fake invite to lure her to the venue. He went with some of his friends and prepared everything; she arrived (fashionably late) and walked into what she thought was a gala dinner but was actually him proposing officially.
The wedding day!

The planning was interesting & quite challenging but rewarding. We had a very great day & great time in God's presence.

"Our Dear heavenly Father, thank you for bring us together and knitting us together. May not only our wedding but our union bring Glory to your name and may everyone who encounter us and attending our wedding feel your presence & love and experience you in a new and unique way.
